lots of things..........

We have had so much fun lately..... Oaks loves going to the park so we try and take her as much as we can. She is becoming so inependent. Her biggest accomplishment is climbing the rocks all by herself. Good Job! my beautiful girl!!

The other day I was cutting hair and Oaklee kept pulling on me like she wanted me... but all she wanted was to wear my smock and be a haircutter like her mama.... how cute!

Next is my superadorable big boy! He is four months old and weighs 15 pounds! We call him squeaks cause all he does is talk in a little squeaky voice. He loves to bounce in his bouncer.

Oaklee's new thing to do is say CHEESE everytime i pull the camera out.

Here are some of her pics

Oaks loves her little brother.

My kids have the most wonderful Grandma

Max just started eating rice and he is not too sure how he feels about it....

ok so I thought this was really cute can you tell who is who?

the top is Max and the bottom is Oaklee

Words cannot express how much I love my Husband and my two beautiful kids. I thank Heavenly Father every day for blessing me with such a wonderful family! I'm so blessed to have a temple marriage and know that we will all be together for all eternity. Waking up to my two kids perfect little faces everyday is the best thing in the world! I'm so glad I have a husband who loves me and especially loves his kids. Justin is the best Dad in the whole world he loves his kids more than anything. Thanks honey I love you!!

CAMPING!

We had our first camping adventure with both kids this weekend. It was so fun! We loaded the camper and the rhino and went on an adventure. Oaks had so much fun she was a trooper! So was Max he really likes outside. Plus my sister in-law Heidi passed on a bunch of her kids clothes to Max had the cutest little outfit on complete with a camoflauge hat. We took a big long ride on the rhino ( we left Max with Grandma) and went to carve his name on a tree that Justin and I started right before we got married. Anyways thats about it. We are supposed to be closing on our house next week and will be in it by next weekend HOORAY! it will be a whole new adventure to start!!!

It's a zoo in my room!

First of all I just wanted to let everyone know that Marilyns surgery went great! she is doing really well and now we are just waiting to know what the next step will be.

So this weekend my husband had to attend meetings in Salt Lake. He was gone from Sunday until Tuesday which happens to be a really long time alone in a house with two kids. So on Sunday night I decided to go to bed early with the kids cause I figured if I had to do this alone I better get a little sleep. Well I pulled a cot into my room for Oaklee and put Max on the bed by me so we could all sleep together and proceeded to put Max to sleep first after I had laid Oaks down on the cot. She usually does pretty good at just going to sleep. So after I started to give Max his bottle and he was settled down Oaklee got up and started sprinting from one end of my room to the other. At least she was quiet while doing it. Anyways after I got Max to sleep I went to lay by Oaks on the cot to see if I could settle her down. after about ten minutes or so I thought she was asleep when all of a sudden I hear "eow (meow), eow, eow," so I said "Oaklee shhhh" which was followed by "roar" from her. then about ten minutes later I went to go back to my bed when she says " Oo Oo Ah Ah Ah". By this time all I could do was laugh and Oaks started laughing too! she then put her hands on my face until she found my lips in the dark and leaned over and gave me a kiss told me Nigh Nigh and plopped down on her pillow and was asleep in 2 minutes. My kids are great!

Easter, Stickers, and Smiles

So I keep forgetting my camera at home so it has taken me a long time to put Easter pics up but here they are. We had so much fun! We took Oaklee to the park to do the Easter egg hunt and she had a blast. She kept saying Oh Wow! every time she picked up a piece of candy or an egg. I completely thought she would be terrified of the Easter bunny but she wasn't she jumped right up on his lap and gave him a hug. We had fun she was even brave enough to go down the big slide! Oaklee's Easter outfit was way cute too she even left the headband on half of the day. Max's outfit was a little too big so he stuck with a comfy little jump suit. No complaints from him on that one. Max was such a trooper. He was so patient and he really had fun out in the sun. Easter morning was a blast too. Oaklee was so cute this year with her basket she got so excited. Just the look on your kids face when they see something like that is the best thing ever! So she got stickers in her basket and this is what became of them later that day.... oh how I love my daughter! Max is getting so big he just turned 3 months and he just amazes me everyday he has the most adorable smile I have ever seen. His bib says it all.... I seriously think I am one of the most lucky people. I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband and two beautiful children. They are the most important thing in this world to me. I mean what could be better then holding your newborn in your arms and having him snuggling so close to you and have your toddler kissing him on the head and telling him she loves him. Heavenly Father sure knew what He was doing making women mothers huh. We find out about our house on Friday hopefully it will all work out and Justin and I will finally be able to settle into a home where we can stay and raise our kids and hopefully bring home a couple more kids......(in 3 years or so)

Brownies and Braids

Even though I am a hairdresser, braids just don't seem to be my specialty. My little girl thank goodness is patient enough to let me practice on her. I thought they turned out pretty good considering I kinda suck and I had to convince a 2 year old to sit still long enough for me to do them. So needless to say I was pretty proud! Well..... a couple hours later I sat down to feed Max his bottle when I hear my dining room chair scooting across the floor. As soon as Max was done eating I turned to see what was going on. It turns out Oaklee had spotted a brownie on the counter and pushed the chair over to help herself. She had also pull her braids out :( All my hard work down the drain. Oh well she had a good time and looked pretty cute doing it.

Max's blessing

We blessed our little boy on Sunday. Everything went great! Max looked so cute in his little outfit. It took me forever to find it. I was unaware of how hard it is to find a blessing outfit for a little boy. We had all of our family there it was so nice. My little brother even got up and bore his testimony in my ward (how brave) he is a cute kid. I had no idea he had a testimony like that, i'm proud of him!

Work and Acid Reflux and buying houses

Ok so I've decided that I need to grow a money tree in my backyard so that I can stay home all day long with my kids. Poor little Max has acid reflux so bad he throws up all the time and is so sad. I feel bad for my babysitter that has to deal with that all day long. Plus when your kids are sick ya just want to sit and cuddle with them all day long and magically make them feel better. Don't get me wrong I love my job I just wish I could bring my two cute little babies with me. Plus work has been so crazy this week I think I'm getting grey hairs over a few things.

So Justin and I are trying to purchase our first home......without a realtor! (AHHHHH). If someone had told me it was gonna be this big of a mess when we started I would have thought twice. Holy Cow who knew they could make something so simple so unbelievably complex. I think all these lenders and sellers set out to make you drag it out as long as possible. I also love that they are so conveniently gone on Fridays ( the only day i have the afternoon off) so I end up on the phone half the day at work. But in the end hopefully it will all fall into place and we will finally have a beautiful home that we can raise our kids in. We can only hope!!!!

Ok so I have never "blogged" before. But I guess I will give it a try. My husband Justin and I live in Panguitch. We have two children Oaklee who will be 2 in July and Max who was just born in January and is 9 weeks old. We love being a family of 4 its a little crazy at times but most definitely always worth it
